As with Auto-Attendant, the most
important element of maintaining an IVR
system is keeping the application’s
“roadmap” up to date.
Each application will have its own
roadmap. Each roadmap must be
accurately maintained.
The easiest way to accomplish this is
to work with the vendor to ensure they
keep their copy up to date as they make
changes, and then have them send an
updated copy each time something
changes.
