Prioritizing the Plan’s Objectives

The telecommunications system can be viewed from
three different perspectives:
1.
As a cost center with the objective of
containing costs, or
2.
As a resource that enhances the
productivity of people, or
3.
As a strategic asset that can be used to
improve one's competitive advantage.
While all three may be important, the focus must be
on how they are prioritized, because priority will
shape decision making.
